The grapes we used to make this Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from vineyards located in the renowned Hawke’s Bay region. The cuddle of river and hillside, and the touch of the breeze from Pacific Ocean bless this area with alluvial
soils, warm temperatures and low rainfall. Especially with the old Ngaruroro River meandering and nourishing through the region, the free draining soil creates high qualities of both consistency and complexity.
Rich dark hues of crimson. An appealing note of roses over plum and blueberry aromas. Full bodied with finely integrated tannins. Well structured with plum and currant flavours. This wine will develop depth and texture over 3+ years.
